Weaving Workshop: capture generations of wisdom, history, and experiences
One of the most practiced ancestral traditions in the andes, is the elaboration of textiles, applying natural and artisanal techniques of spinning, dyeing and weaving, making use of 100% natural products. In which generations of wisdom, history and own experiences are reflected. In the fabric workshop, a summary of what is the work that can take months to make a fabric is shown and taught. This workshop is conducted by the weavers associations of Huarán, with the support of mosqoy*, an NGO that supports weavers from remote communities to have opportunities for life through their weaving.
